Is it really necessary to flush my brake fluid?

Is it really necessary to replace my Brake Fluid? You bet it is! Contaminated Brake Fluid will decrease the efficiency of your Brakes, and will cause serious damage to expensive Brake parts, such as Calipers, Steel Brake Lines, and ABS Modules over time.  Our Pataskala customers often ask, "How does my Brake Fluid become contaminated?"  The Brake Hoses on your car are rubber, and rubber is also found in the Master Cylinder and Calipers. However, if the thickness of your Brake Rotors are worn below safety standards, or if there are large grooves, pits, or rusted areas, the Brake Rotors need to be replaced. In the Pataskala area of Central Ohio this is often the case. We often find the inner side of the Brake Rotor that you don ... read more
